D.J. Cotrona Online is celebrating its second year anniversary online today. I can’t believe it’s already been two years, time flies! Thanks to all our frequent visitors, and everyone for all the support you have given to the site.

I felt it would be a great time for a new look, so the site is proudly sporting new layouts, still featuring outtakes from the photoshoot session D.J. did for Da Man magazine last year. I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Also, today also marks the opening of our brother site, Zane Holtz Web! I have spent the past few months slowly working on it, and I thought it would be nice to open it on the same day as this site’s anniversary. I hope you’ll visit it as frequently as you visit this site.

Lastly, make sure you visit our gallery, which underwent a major update. Majority of the event photos are now in high-quality! I have done the same with some portraits, and added new ones. I have also finally completed the Season 2 screencaps of FDTD, sorry for the delay on that. Check them all out, and thank you for taking the time to read all these.

D.J. shares his thoughts about being back on set for Season 3 on Ask Dusk.

D.J. is celebrating his birthday today, and we would like to wish him a very happy birthday! We wish you all the best in life and in your career. Looking forward to From Dusk Till Dawn Season 3! Send him your greeting on Twitter (@DJCotrona) or on Instagram (@cotrona23).

Miramax and El Rey Network have started production on the third season of the dark and highly-addictive original drama “From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series,” and we have the early details for you here.

Comprised of ten hour-long episodes, the series, based on the iconic film franchise of the same name, will feature a returning ensemble cast that includes: D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González, Jesse Garcia, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo, and Jake Busey. Filmmaker and El Rey Network founder Robert Rodriguez will return to direct select episodes this season, which begins shooting March 14 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Carlos Coto returns as showrunner (as well as writer and executive producer).

“We’re taking Season 3 to a whole new level,” said Robert Rodriguez. “It’s an explosive time in the ‘Dusk’ world, and the Geckos will be up against new villains with new agendas and powers. We’re all psyched about diving back in for kick-ass action-packed thrills.”

Season 3 continues the Gecko brothers’ saga as they fight their way through the world of culebras, the vampire-snake hybrids that control hidden empires in Texas and Mexico. Once the baddest outlaws in the land, Seth and Richie made a run for the Border two years ago to save their lives – and their fortune. They ran headlong into a bar full of bloodsuckers and bandits, facing off with the vampire goddess Santánico. The Geckos joined her cause, and they settled an old score. It won them a place in the culebra world. Now that world is about to explode, and new enemies are gathering – dark forces, hell-bent on destruction and domination. It’s up to the Geckos to stop them – but they can’t do it alone.
